Development of HIGH FLOW, HIGH PRESSURE Fitting Line

We have developed a line of dry break fittings that consist of six sets of fittings with each pair offering a minimum flow area equivalent to 1” schedule 80 pipe. The fittings incorporate the following design features:

1) The receiver and nozzle of each set will only couple with each other offering complete protection against cross-contamination of fluids

2) Receiver and nozzle sets are color coded to simplify identification of matching component sets

3) All wear parts are constructed of heat treated stainless steel for long life and corrosion resistance

4) All non-wear components are constructed of anodized 6061-T6 alloy aluminum for high strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance

5) All fittings have a 500 psi working pressure rating with 2500 psi minimum burst pressure rating

6)  The standard mounting is 1” male NPT for all receivers and 1” female NPT for all nozzles with optional mounting configurations available

7) All fittings incorporate a “ball lock” mechanism to insure smooth and reliable operation

8) Flow rates are as follows using ISO 46 hydraulic oil (third party tested):

41 gpm (155 lpm)       @ 4 psi pressure drop

80 gpm (303 lpm)       @ 15 psi pressure drop

113 gpm (428 lpm)      @ 30 psi pressure drop
